Since October of 2018, VivoBlu Inc. has sent 350 filters to the Loreto region in the Amazon Rainforest. Paid for by Conapac and Global Health Initiatives, these filters are providing clean water to schools, clinics, and families in multiple villages along the Amazon. These organizations have taught the homeowners how to assemble, repair and reassemble their filter systems as well as how to properly maintain and use their systems for optimum performance.
They have partnered with the community leaders to train any problem-solving or equipment repair needs as well as providing extra filter parts should they be required. The results have been excellent. Since the deployment, the filters are still working, and we have seen not only the community people gain health, but the community leaders are asking for more filters.
